Let’s talk about the Weekend Sales! If you’ve been in Second Life for a bit, you probably know about the Saturday Sales. But if you’re new or just didn’t know, this is your chance to snag some awesome clothes, hair, and accessories at super low prices! Seriously, when we say “reduced price,” we mean it! Normally, things can cost between L$150 to L$500, but during the sales, you can pick them up for just L$65 to L$100. It’s a perfect time to grab some amazing pieces that might have been out of your budget before!
And for those who have been eyeing fatpacks, this is the perfect time to buy. While they might not drop to the same price as individual items, going from nearly L$2000 down to L$500-L$600 is definitely a bargain!
I recently took some snapshots of my favorite items from the last weekend sales, which is pictured above. There are amazing pieces from stores like CryBunBun, Cult, Kuni, Truth, and Sinoux. If you're curious about the full list of items, you can check out my portfolio.
For those new to the Saturday Sales, it might be a bit confusing since the items are scattered across different locations and not all in one place. Unfortunately, that means you can't simply teleport to a single sim to find everything. But no worries! You can check out the website Seraphim, which has a complete list of all the weekend sales. They update their listings throughout the weekend, with Saturday Sales going live around 12 am PST on Friday, and SoKawaiiSundays appearing around 5 pm PST on Saturday.
If you want to get ahead, there are a few groups you can join in Second Life that sometimes release the information early, and you can also catch some sneak peeks on Facebook.
Just a quick reminder: not all stores join in every weekend, so it’s a good idea to keep an eye on the list to catch those items you’ve been dreaming about. I’ll also be sharing my favorite looks from the sales in my portfolio each weekend, so don’t forget to take a peek. Also a little tip: some stores might take down their sale items right after the weekend ends, while others might keep them up throughout the week. If there’s something specific you really want, make sure to snag it on the sale day. Happy shopping, and good luck out there!
